Need some help installing two amps?
Hello i'm installing a 4 channel amp for speakers and a mono amp for sub, do i need to run rca's from the head unit to the sub amp or can i just run rca's from my 4 channel amp to the sub amp? what is the difference? Also do i need to run the speaker wires and the rca's on different side of the power wire or is it just the rca's that need to be away from the power cords? thanks

you will get better sub performance and control if you run the RCAs from the head unit to the mono amp. but I guess that depends on your head unit as well, I run a Pioneer 7600 which has sub-woofer controls.
oh and it is just the RCA's that need to be kept from the power cords so they dont pick-up interference

I have a pionner deh-6900 it has all the sub controls, right now i hooked up my mono amp rca's to my 4 channel amp and i have no control of the sub from the head unit, so is that because i didn't run the rca's from the head unit? I also had a question about some fuze i hear from my speakers since i installed the 4 channel amp, when like songs switch i hear fuze but there is fuze as well when the song is playing is this normal or if not what do you think the problem is, cheap rca's? thanks

2) yes, cheap rca's are the normal cause of the static.
