Need some real opinions

hey guys,

I've been looking for a 12" sub and an amp to go along with it. I have been looking at things in the 1000-1500 rms range and still can't decide what to get. All of this stuff is going to happen in a ported box and space isn't really an issue. Here are some pairs that I came up with on my own. Please tell me what you think would be my best bet:

-Elemental Designs 13Av.2 D2 (sub) and NINe.1 (amp) ($761.10)
-RE Audio MX12D1 (sub) and Sundown Audio SAZ-1500d (amp) ($1259)
-DDAudio 9512g (sub) and Sundown Audio SAZ-1500d (amp) ($1259 est.)
-Elevation Audio X12 (sub) and Elevation AudioDX1000.1 (amp) ($1069)
-RD Alpha AL12 and RD Audio RD1750.1 (amp) ($1198.10)

Price is not really a problem as I want this stuff done right off the bat. No bullcrap. I also wanted you guys to comment on some sql's for each of the planned out set-ups. I really need help on this one guys.

Thanks.

PS: I promise this will be the last time I ever post anything like this again.

I don't want something just for spl levels. I need something that is just as much a daily driver as a loud mother******

I've heard a few set-ups using Fi (different models) and they all did what they were intended to do very well IMO.

I understand that tf1 makes good subs, don't get me wrong, but all I've seen is people using them in spl cars. I do want to have a set up that's loud, can save some space, and make some decent numbers.

I have done some research on these Fi subs and aren't seeing any real numbers to work with. They have a bunch of options that seem pretty fun to look at, but don't give me any tangible numbers. I also looked on their forum and it seems to be down for now. Any other suggestions? I would like to keep my purchases local, but if I find a deal across the boarder I might just take it.

ok, ok. i've done my research on these fi subs and it looks to me that I'll be spending more than what I expected on them. 500+ with duties, shipping and brokerage included. If someone could just give me a little bit more background info on the tf1's it would be much appreciated

Is this a price that Fi gave you?

For some reason if you ship via USPS the brokerage is not applicable...actually I'm not sure what the deal is, but I have NEVER had to pay anything on items shipped via USPS.

Anything coming via FedEX, UPS, DHL etc,. I'm getting raped at least $30-50 for the "brokerage" plus whatever else those border thieves can come up with.
