For some reason if you ship via USPS the brokerage is not applicable...actually I'm not sure what the deal is, but I have NEVER had to pay anything on items shipped via USPS.

Anything coming via FedEX, UPS, DHL etc,. I'm getting raped at least $30-50 for the "brokerage" plus whatever else those border thieves can come up with.
Fi doesn't let you ship anything via USPS to Canada. If it were up to me I would ship via something where I don't have to pay anything, but things aren't always as I would like them.

Anywho, anyone have any opinions on TFOne's? I've heard some good stuff about them, but am just wondering how they sound with some music (rap, hip-hop, reggae, dance, trance, ect...). All i've found is "they sound good with music". Doesn't really answer my question. Is it tight on the bass or is it just boom boom boom (loud)?

Check my sig. The FI stuff is very good I have a 12" SSD and it cracks 140Db on only 600-700rms at 37Hz. The BL's are great too but need alot of power, I don't know about the 12 though the one we tested was an underpowered 15". The SSD's are cheaper and very nice when loaded with the add ons

I listen to a variety of music. My current daily box for my tf ones is tuned at 35 hz and they sound great. Tf1s also require small enclosures. My box for 2 10s is around 2 cuft.

ok, so it's either the Fi BL12's or the TF1's. The amp is a guaranteed Sundown 1500D. Foor the Fi BL12's, what kind of rms am I looking at? From the website im only seeing 1000*. Doesn't quite make any sense to me, but the TF1 is local and pretty cheap by any means.

For the tf1, what kind of box would I be looking at if I wanted to go ported for the 12's and also for the 15's. A tuning spec would be nice as well

Fi is very conservative with their numbers and depending what options you pick for the sub it can handle even more power than "stock".

Shoot Scott from Fi an email. He'll take care of you

Don't expect an answer from fi very fast tho. I waited 2 weeks for them to get back to me on a recone so I went somewhere else. I still haven't gotten a reply yet either. That was 8 months ago. Tf1 has way better customer service.

That's a fair bet. I have been reading some stuff on Fi and it's true. Even in the U.S people say the customer service at Fi kinda sucks.

I need some opinions on some other stuff as well. What kind of amp do you think the tfone would best match with (from the ones I listed).
