Neone for Grill?

I want to buy a 15 or so inch green neon to put behind the grill of my Accord. But, I can't find them anywhere online for less than maybe $25 dollars, which is more than I'd like to pay.

Anyone know where I could get one for maybe $10 to $15 dollars?

Absolutely. I have a pair of green cathodes, which is 2 12" bars and a transformer. They are about 7-8$ at different places. Search on shopbot.ca.

To be honest however, LED"s are EVEN cheaper on ebay. I got a 24 LED strip behind my front license plate ( picture below ) and WITH SHIPPING! It was $3.05. You can get green ones for the same price, mine are white.
Here is the link; they are $2.66 right now, great deal. They are plenty bright look at my picture.

Also if you want a 48 LED ( closer to 15" ) it is only 4-5$, here is the link for that one

Hmm, and that's just one strip? LEDs were an option but I was afraid I wouldn't get the light distribution that I wanted out of it.

Yes thats one 24 LED strip. LED's will work fine if you aim them right, not to mention for 1 Neon tube @ even 15$ you could buy 5 sets of 24 LED's and be 5x brighter and in all directions.

This is just my opinion. Feel free to buy whatever you want. For the price, you cannot beat those LED strips by a long shot.

Okay, good enough for me. Ordered a 48 LED strip.

Do you just have a switch in your car wired to the hot wire for your LEDs?

Yup. If easier run the wires to your parking lights, so when they come on so do your grille LED's
