Well I've got my new doorpods almost done, just need to finish them somehow(not sure how yet). This was my first time fibreglassing and I thought it went pretty good, I'm pleased with how they turned out and to me they sound good.

What is the easiest/cheapest way to finish something like this? Carpet? Vinyl? I could also paint them, but as you may be able to see from the pics I didnt do a very good job with the body filler and it would be a lot of sanding to get them ready for paint.

Use trunk liner for the easiest way to get them finished. Unless you are prepared for hours of sanding and filling, it is your best bet. Vinyl looks cool but it shows all imperfections underneath.

They are some Power Acoustic speakers. The model is a couple years old, I picked up a full set of the 5.25" components, and there was another set but it was missing one of the midbass drivers for warranty. Cost $65 for the 3 speakers, 4 tweets, and 4 crossovers.

Where can I get trunk liner?

I'd choose a door over the kick panel as I'm more afraid to kick the panel with my foot more often on the floor than I am on the door. Plus anyone I ever give a ride to after work usually doesn't care what they're doing when they get in the car and wouldn't realize it. Majority of the time I make people take their shoes off

Haha come on now, that is a 96 Corolla your talking about there.

The reason I chose the doors is because its standard, and there isnt really much room down beside the clutch pedal. Its a tiny car, and I use the foot rest beside the clutch quite a bit.

I think they are gonna get kicked a fair bit anyway no matter if they are in the door or the kick panel, so I didnt really worry about that.
