are they loud yet? like W7 loud?

 

i tried that focal car, the best tune in the show i think.

 

Kaption has been using that same multipoint magnet setup for quite some time now. I really wonder if there are any real benefits to it or if its just another gimmick.

 

Utopia is supposed be be about sound quality - not how "loud" !!
Do they play loud, yes (BUT NOT HELLA)- do they sound good, yes - would you use them in an SPL system - NO !!
If you Focal, and you want 'em loud - theyr'e Kevlar subs are better - but again, Focal aren't really an SPL sub - they sound awesome - and thats what really counts !!

 

Oh...they get plenty loud. For mids and highs, there is NOTHING out there that I have heard that matches their transient abilities. (I'm not comparing them to HLCDs here folks) But...as stated, they aren't about loud but quality.

Yes that is the crossover - if said OMG to how they look - wait till you hear of much they cost.
Around the $4000-$5000 set is what I heard.

And no I didn't type an extra zero !!

 

Seems there is a growing market of $5k speaker sets F#1, Genesis, Focal Be, (any others)... who the heck is buying them???
