i have a 1997 Saturn SC-1, and the speakers and Tape deck suck, so i got myself a JVC (KD-G310) deck and now as i turn up the volume, i can really hear the craptacular sound from the stock speakers. i dont want to spend alot as being a student and being 17 and paying for insurance sucks (but thats life)

what i need to find is 4 speakers (front and back) and maybe a sub. with that said can i just buy some cheap (but still midly good) speakers and use the stock wiring? and if i do get a subwoofer, do i need an amp? because i know how expensive they are, and if i dont need one (for lower powered sub's) i dont really wanna fork out more cash

this car has to be for hockey, so using all my trunk space=no good, and im not a complete n00b because i still managed to get the deck installed without blowing anything up (which was good)

so if i could get some basic nessecary specs of speakers that would fit in a 97 saturn without ripping it completely apart, and even better (maybe find some for me, on canadian sites) that would be awesome
