k igot a set of pro audio clarion 6x9s but i need an amp. what kind of settings would i be looking at for an amp.
i know i have to have a watt rating lower then my peakers do or i risk blowing them and i don't want it to low or then sound bad.
i want one that has speaker out puts right?
and i think thats all that thier is. also would i need 2 amps or would 1 amp do i only got about 100 to 150 to spend on it. so nothing top notch.

Wait...
Are you putting these 6x9's in the back?
Don't amp them. Please. Just run rear speaker output to them. Buy an amp for your front speakers.
Please!
...please.

hey srry about the post i made on the donut shop. and thx for helping me. um my stock 6X9 sound better then these pro audio ones do. so that can't be good. and if im getting this right what your sayying is to just run all the decks power to the 6X9s and then the 5 1/4 run off an amp. is that correct.

That would be ideal. You see, in car and home it's best to have more sound coming from up front rather than from behind you. Your 6x9's won't sound so good with deck power, and that's understandable because they require more power to begin with to sound decent.
What I would have done is get better 5¼'s along with an amp and leave the rears alone. So either exchange the 6x9's for 5¼'s or buy an amp for the rear and go ahead with what you planned anyway, and save up for front speakers and amp for the future.

ya i don't think i can exchangethe rear speakers now cause i already installed them. and i cut the speaker wire that came with them. and i already upgraded my front speakers. to some pioneers. i did have some rockfords in the front but i think they were blown cause they rattled. when i turned on the bass.
