I have a Eclipse, MTX, Soundstream, Morel package worked up for you. I ditched the cap as you really don't need it. It is within $100.00 of your goal and will in my opinion be a far superior system. I have not included a wiring kit in the estimate but did include the install kit and harness. I have a couple things to work on in the morning but will endevour to get it done asap for you.

its a 2004 Ford F150 there is no BOSE sytems offered in fords at all, they have just now started intergrating sony as the top of the line audio system, before that it was audiophile. It is a good sytem that comes in the F150 Lariat but it doesnt have the same clarity or punch that an aftermarket system can give you.

Yeah, I corrected myself later in the thread. For some stupid reason I read "Bose" lol

As for your question, it sounds like you are definitely off to a good start with some nice equipment. Personally I havent been overly impressed with JBL, but I like the rest of your choices.

MR2NR has access to some serious gear. I see Morel on there and that makes me smile Even Morel's low end is competitive with JBL's Power Series. Most will argue Morel sounds better than the Power Series. I would say that he will help you build an even better system than you had originally listed, and by the looks of things, not cost you a boat-load. Check the sticky on the Big Three in the General Discussion area of the forums, then you'll see what it means. Props for the Blue Oval just the same You would be happy with the initial system, I imagine even happier with the one MR2NR will hook you up with

MR2NR also drives a blue oval.... equipped with monster a$$ snowplow.... but no snow....WTH?

koolslider, once your post count comes up (but do not spam to do so) you will start to see more of the site. The alternative here is if you want to see the site and eliminate the ads that you are seeing, make a small donation to the site. If you find the site usefull and it is going to save you money in both equipment and labour, send $10 or $20 to the site.

I am located at CFB Comox on Vancouver Island. My equipment is all new and will carry full manufacturer warranty in Canada (unlike the no manufacturer warranty when bought online from the US and clearly stated as a 1 year Sonic warranty). This means that any warranty issue you must send it back to them, pay it to get there, wait for it to be fixed, then pay to have it returned again. With such a expensive head unit as the centerpiece of the system, not a recommended way to go.

Component list.... not at the store yet so I will do it from memory.

Eclipse AVN726e if I can get the price on it that I need. Includes the kit and harness.
Front speakers - Morel Tempo 6 components, includes abs speaker adaptors (no cheeseball 5x7" front components here)
Rear speakers - Morel Tempo 5x7
Amp - Soundstream LW4.500 (I think that is the model)
Sub - MTX, the same as the one you listed.

In my opinion, this will be a superior system due to the headunit and the speakers alone. You do not need a cap, I took it out of the estimate to get you into the better front speakers. All you will need is a wire kit, a cheap kit might be $50.00 + 2 more cheap rca cable and it will suck major *****. A good kit (read that as a quality kit, a real 4 gauge kit) with 3 rca cables total is going to land around the $130.00 mark. Not going overboard on the rca cables, just a good solid true 4 gauge wire kit and more than respectable RCA cables.

I have already allowed for about $90.00 for shipping of this equipment to you. Your PST there at 8% would be $192.00. I do not have to charge you PST either. I will only charge the actual amount of shipping and insurance / proof of delivery, if I am high on the estimate, it will save you a bit. If I am low on the estimate I will need to add a little extra to it. I will need your postal code to calculate actual shipping charges. I also need to know how you would like to proceed with the wiring kit that you will need.

By the sounds of it you were going to source your own installation from the start, if I can help you out with it, I most certainly will.
