New system advice please!

Hey so the gf is looking at putting a system into her 06 civic
Dx. Listens to hip hop and dubstep. For subs we're going with 2 JL10W3's and an alpine mrpm1000 or something similar that will deliver 400-500RMS a piece. Here's where I'd like some help. All the boxes I've built have gone into SUV's or open cabs so they've all been ported. If it's in the trunk should I go ported or sealed, Wedge or straight box, should it be firing forward or back? As for the front stage of the car I don't want to have to run full new wiring to the the trunk and more RCA's and power wire to a 4-channel. So I what I was thinking was just some type S components in the front and type S coax's in the rear ran off the deck. She was thinking JVC KWADV793 double din. It only puts out 20W RMS but will still slam alot harder then stocks if tuned right off the 5 band equalizer on the deck? Or was also considering an alpine double din with an alpine power pack in line amplifier. I think they do around 45RMS, she'd much rather the JVC but would the alpine sound significantly better? I appreciate any feedback and help. Thanks!

What's the budget? Buying full retail, or off the forums, new or used?? What options are you looking at regarding buying?

Some thoughts on your plan:

You can tap into the factory speaker wiring harness to get to the speaker locations for front and rear speakers generally speaking.

Properly amplifying your fronts in my mind goes a long way in building a NICE setup. Deck power is garbage. Use it only on rears and only if you really have to.

Consider a four channel amp that you can bridge the rear channels for a sub(s). Amp the front speakers and run the rears off the deck. For people on a budget, that's generally the direction I advise them to walk towards.

Buy an efficient sub that hits hard but doesn't need a lot of power. You will thank me greatly for this advice. Image Dynamics IDQ's were kinda like this. You save money in not having to buy power, and not taxing your electrical system as much but still sounding great.

This is a start anyways.................... good luck.

Thanks, everthything is being bought retail but can get most JL, Clarion, and pioneer near cost. Budget is around 1500 when all is said and done. What are your thoughts on buying an alpine power pack with an alpine deck to power S types? This way I can just tap into the factory wiring and not have to tear more things apart? She's pretty set on the W3's. I've heard or had alot of the JL line of subs and in comparison to most subs in the price range they sound the best (not trying to start a sub debate) so that's the direction I'm thinking of heading but still open to opinions. Preferrably on the front stage/deck thanks
