also be sure to get a roller! you dont need but its way better if you have one! if you dont get a sound deadening roller go get a laminate roller... they are pretty much the same thing, it makes for a much better finish and does far more to contour the deadening then you could ever hope to do by hand

Also mounting your amp directly on the box like that could damage the internals. IMO i would mount it to a board along the side of your trunk using rubber gromets.
