New ZED audio?

It seems that most agree that hifonics is now much lower end, but has anyone heard about the current ZED audio products? I was on their low gloss website tonight and was looking at their Draconia 4 ch amp. It appears to be nicely made from the internal photos..(What do I know!!)

I am also tempted to get a late 90's 4 ch 60W ESX amp that was made by ZED at the end of their brief production. I haven't been able to find much information on them, but the guy behind the company (Steve Mainz) is quoted as saying they were very advanced. Anyone have some info? Thanks.

The owner of the company "Zed Audio" is actually a member at ECA.
There have been many threads on both of these brands there.

i was always a big fan of the original rodek, ra2150, ra250, ra280, not he second generation, i would love to get my hands on about a dozen mint 2150's, life would be practically complete

I had three of the original Rodek amps, the 2x24 high current, the 2x50 and the 4x25. I have the owners manuals sitting around somewhere. Those were nice amps. They won the three head to head comparisons they were in back in the day. The new ones are German?

Yup, that is a lot of reading. I especially was intrigued by the thread where a previous customer claimed that Mainz sabotaged one of his amps after a payment dispute.
