You haven't mentioned which model it is yet, but I'm guessing it's the R9.0:5. I've never used that line of amps, but I generally don't run equipment beyond what the manufacturer recommends.

Why specifically mono? There are some solid 2 channel amps that would give him the option of running each sub at 2 ohms or both at 4 ohms.
ie. Hifonics ZX7500

even if i get the mono block or the 2 channel the amp i have now is useless...

well yea i will be but i couldved bought a cheaper amp...

one more question when i bought my car it came with a ALPINE V12 SUBWOOFER DRIVE POWER AMPLIFIER MRV 100M what are the specs on this? i cant find any

Id prefer class D for subbass and 99.8% of them are monoblocks.....

Edit: the V12 mentioned is a mono class A/B.. (ok saying mono was not the way I should have put that, lol).. but I believe it was only about 300WRMS at 14V...

so if i had to i could use the V12 to power my 2 subs? since there is 2 channels and stable at 2 ohms @ 200W?

OK ive come to a conclusion! lol ill hook em up in series at 4 ohms. If they sond liek crap ill sell the box and one sub then just get another box for the other sub
