Hey, my buddy has a Hifonics Atlas monoblock amp from the early 90's, big tank of an amp. Looks like the one in this pic:

I think it is in pretty good shape, put out a lot of power from what I remember, any ideas on what it would be selling for these days?

I used to have an amp like that (forgot the name of it) but it was amazing ! I used it to power a Kicker 12" XPL Sub.

 

Yeah I think it is early 90's.....

 

The Atlas does;

400x1@4ohm
600x1@2ohm

The retail price was $1499.95 back in the early to mid 90's.
Comparible power these days can be had for a few hundred dollars. The amp is worth what you want to pay for it.

 

Thanks for the help! I tried to find some info about the old Hifonics gear on Google, no luck.....

 

If you need any more info I have specs on most companies back to '93 including more detailed info the the Hifonics if you need it.
