Arrow Old school car "Cuda" needs new audio system

Although I have been happy listening to the engine, I think I am ready to think about an audio setup.

Here is the car.

I would like a decent sounding system but I do not want anything visible (with the exception of the deck) The interior is rare and expensize to replace, especially the rear seat panels. The dash has 3 speaker holes but the 2 side speakers are very small and very narrow. The dash cavity is very open so that is an options.

So to your stereo experts, can you help me with

Deck and speaker suggestions (Cd, MP3, no video required)

I have a kenwood amp and a 10 inch sub woofer and small enclosure (Doesn't fit this vehicle well)

Speaker Installation suggestions?

Thanks Rob

This car is a classic. It is rare. It needs to be in my garage and not yours. Do not just blindly act on advice from people when the car is twice as old as they are and have no true idea of what this car really is. What you need to do is post where you live so that the older members of this forum can direct you to a specialty shop that is in your area. To recommend things for this car requires hands on and nothing less. I have all the ideas in the world but at the end of the day the investment made into the audio system needs to be done correct the first time.

^ What he said. I wouldn't even know where to begin with that car. Other than bowing down to worship it a bit.

I highly doubt your in my area as that car wouldnt survive one day or richmond drivers
You'd have hondas splattered all over the windshield
But my specialty is classic cars and hotrods
in a car like that you need some clean custon install done only by someone respectful of such a beauty so some advice on it
If it has the kick vents remove them and build custom kicks with some 6's put in the more you spend the better the results (if your working with an honest and good installer) I usually start at about $200 and go up based on final finish (vinyl wrapped would look most factory) the ten you could put in the trunk but a custom designed box taking space and sound into consideration is a must I usually start custom computer optimised boxes at about $200 also rear fill can be tricky in those and honestly if you've got good speakers installed well up front and decent power (IE an amp) running them then rear speakers arent gonna be needed. A good location for he cd player is in a custom console just forward of the center console and just below the dash will prevent any heinous and unneeded cutting of the dash. That will also be around $200 and up depending on fit and finish I would recomend factory styling and upholsery materials so as not to take away from the oe nature of this car much like the front kicks.
Carefull where you go I've done hundreds of classics over the years and most of them involeved repairing someone elses bad judgment if ya cant afford to do it right dont do it at all cus it will haunt you.
If done right there is no reason why the car couldnt be turned back to original or if left in the mods wouldnt hurt the value of the car
Pm me if you want some more cost effective ideas that wont ruin your car

Talking

Wow, thank you for the good advice and comments on my car. I do wish to do correctly and use a good company as needed. I will pay do it right the first time. Doping or over is usually more expensive.

I live 45 minutes east of Toronto in the Oshawa area if you have any installer suggestions.

i think i would have a shop get something like this
http://vintageautoradio.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_ id=98
and add a cd in the back next to the amp that is not seen and the 4x10 i think that car has ,i think i would look at 2 5 1/4 in eack side or 2x 4" in the place of the 4x10
that is a fun car some times hard to keep on the road
