Old school Punch 50.1 - how much did it make?
#1
I just won this thing for $57CAD. I needed a small amp that does the job...
It's rated at 200W RMS but this is on of the older amps (circa 98) so it's before RF started homoing out their stuff.
Any old school guys can tell me what the actual output of this thing is?

I think the older ones (circa 96) were suppposed to be 1/2 or 1/4 ohm stable. Not sure about that one though....is this the manual?: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftec...1_50-2_MAN.pdf

I have one of these in my car (and a 50.2) mine are chrome... a friend had 3 in his truck too, good amps. I have mine running 2 IDQ 12's and he had 2 running ID Chameleons (one left, one right) and the other running 4 ID 15's... they work good. I know ours listed well over $900 each (we didn't quite pay that cuz we bought 5 of 'em)
I'd say you got a good deal

Maybe I'm wrong, our are Power 50.1's, maybe this isn't (though I didn't know they made a Punch 50.1) I have an extra set of Black end Caps, that amp came with the gold ones but I'm sure mine would fit, too bad I'm in Ontario...
What are you gonna run with it?
