Cool Ontario Retailers: Help Me Out, Give This Guy A Deal On A 400 Watt Amplifier

So in a discussion, this amplifier comes up ... Pioneer 800W Class D Mono Amplifier (GM-D7400M)

1 OHM Output Power - Full Range Not Listed
14.4V Dynamic Power At 2 Ohms Not Provided By Manufacturer
2 OHM Output Power - Full Range 400W x 1
4 OHM Output Power - Full Range 250W

$249.99 at FutureShop and they'll throw in a $100 gift card.
All I said was, I think Toronto retailers could sweeten the deal.

All I said was I don't think the deal is flaming hot and the poster could probably get something better at a retailer in Ontario.
So? Prove my theory and let me bring some business your way.

Do you guys like this deal? Or do you think there's more out there.

Thanks. That's the site I'm referring to and in interest of us all, I'd keep this thread open. I linked this thread on the site and therefore, is a good promo for everyone here.

With that said, t least I have enough brains that despite any "Sale" that Future Shop or Best Buy are going to promote online and in their flyers across this country, its the local shops that are supporting this industry.
Especially since I haven't seen a Future Shop DB Drag ... ever.

At $249 and a $100 gift card from FS, that is below CDN dealer cost by a good amount. A amount good enough for me to not buy it from Pioneer at all and to buy 20 of them from FS and use the gift cards on a new flat panel tv. I think I will go to FS and buy me some amps.

You're not helping my cause here!
Not to mention, how many square amps do you want to have at one time?

Just another way of FS absolutely destroying the value of products and a brand name.

hahaha that was my thread at RFD's, sorry there is not much out my way for Audio shops, I just thought it was a good deal for me $183 taxes in after $100 gift card seems like a good deal for me. For a amp then could do 2 ohms at 400 Watts.

The price is fixed now I think it wa s apricing error now it is back up to $299.

Anyone else thinks this was a good deal?

Another thing I Like about this amp is that I won't be able to blow my SUB with this amp I don't think.

Also with it up as load as it can go there is to much rattling in my car now so any louder would just make it worse.

Also with the amp I would not have to upgrade my wires to higher gauge stuff.
