Having an opinion is one thing, but it's entirely valid to have an opinion of product, whether good or bad if the person holding that opinion has first hand experience with the stuff.

I got a bit tired with the threads about "Post your ultimate [insert favourite crap] here". It's a close second to "look at me, I post in Donut Shop all day to be an attention and I know nothing about car audio". And it all ends up to be the same result in the end; bickering, and then locked threads. But it's not like all this havoc is going to stop anyways, so count it as just a rant. Some people just can't shut up, even if told so politely.

Personnaly I think those that post nothing but Donut Shop either have nothing to say bcause it may have been taken care off already or have nothing to say because they dont know the answer to the question.

If this forum was to post nothing but technical truth, where would the fun be? All work and no fun is no fun.

I hit all the forums just to see what sort of eyebrows are being raised.

I stay away from the theory and tech for a couple of reasons. I have been doing this for years and an somewhat getting sick of posting the same answers to pretty much the same questions and second and most imortant (to me anyways) is I am having a bout of memory loss due to a fight with some Helmaprene glue that damn near killed me.

I like the odd of color post just for the character it adds to the forum. If you remember the old PG forum, there was alot of goofing around, but now it has gotten pretty serious.

I prety much leave everything up to Chev2 and Tad. They have it handled prety damn well.

They guys running the forum here are doing a bangup job and deserve some credit for not letting this place go to **** like so many other forums.

It's always good to maintain a balance.

Sure, the same questions that keep coming up that need the same answers are pretty much gonna always be there. But staying away isn't going to get the questions answered. With that in expectation, though, it's easier to cope with answering the needs of other members to satisfy their request for knowledge.

Apart from the little things you and I may be upset about, I'll have to say this board is the kickassest of them all.

Just no group-hugs, please.
