the high end stuff is good, low end is bad.

that works for most companies, its all built on price point, you get wat u pay for

I got a new 10" Xplod 300W for $20, very cheap, but I didn't like it.

agreed , my sister has such a nice sony deck .

i had a 1200w sony amp (a blue one) for a couple years running a 15 comp mtx , never had a problem with the amp . still works to this day .

entry level , dd stuff .

personal experience, I wouldnt **** on it if it was on fire, unless it was gonna burn something good. I dont mind there house stuff, but I dont use it in house either LOL. My opinion, so dont go by it, try what ya like, hell I runnin bassworx, I heard good and bad, but I dont mind it at all

I'm running sony amps in my car, Like any other entry level product, buy way more power than you think you'll need, just so you're not running it anywhere close to it's failure point.

sony isnt that bad entry level gear, however the thing that pisses me off most about them is their tendency to over rate thier products, i see amps rated at 1200w, but its not even a 600wrms amp, its2 240wrms, 1 300wrms, etc, they bullshit all their numbers, add togethe their total MAX output and advertise it as that, which makes alot of people think their is huge, like 1200wrms, when really they noe all bout it....

my 2 cents, hahaha
