Looking for any opinions on these Lanzar MAXP64 6.5' subwoofers

http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?MODEL=MAXP64

Friend is looking at putting a couple in well deadened doors to add some punch without sacrificing room.

Any other 6.5" subs in a similar |(under $50) price range worth considering?

^It doesn't look like a sub to me... fs of 80hz? Looks like a regular 6.5 inch.

Here are a few suggestions with various price

These look nice
Creative Sound - Product Details

These guys have been proven to deliver, but I don't know how they would do in a car door
Solen Electronique Inc.

Always keep the best for last... this is probably the best bet bang\buck\performance
Peerless 830946 SLS 6.5" Woofer - 4 ohm from Madisound

I am not sure why solen doesn't have the peerless 830946, might email them to see if they could get it in. I would go with the SLS (830946). It can go low and it will also play midbase very well.

peerless SLS will do the job alot better IMO. theres JL 6W3 i think. Digital designs w6.5 but i think this one needs an enclosure but im sure it would still work good. theres elemental designs. soundstream, morel, but price wize SLS. my buddy has some in his doors and they are real nice

Angry they suck

The lanzar maxp64 subs are the worst subs ive ever bought , I got 6 all together to Put in my friends Chevy truck, everyone stopped working , idk why or what happened but they played for about a day then just stopped producing sound one at a time till they all didnt work , I built boxes that were 0.3 foot of airspace like lanzar told me they needed , and I ran three diffrent amps on them. 100 watts , two of them broke , 50 watts, the other 4 broke lanzar wouldnt help me with what hapoened to them , all I can day is they are crap subs amd no one should ever buy them , I tried diffrent size boxes as well and that didnt keep them from blowing , the Iraqi people at lanzar are idiots and don't .know what to say to help anyone who calls, all I can say is i tried everything in yhe world to make those subs work and nothing helped they all stoped workibg after a day . I also tried finding forums online about the subs to see if anyone had problems like i did but there is nothing online about the subs. I hope my experience helps u in not purchasing these pos lanzar subs, don't waste ur money. SERIOUSLY DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY ON LANZAR MAXP64 6.5 ICH SUBWOOFER
