Question Opionions Needed, Sub Amp.

I have a bit of a dilema on my hands here folks. I need advice on a sub/amp combo for my new system. I have already picked out what subs I am going to get, they are 2 Zapco i-12D 12" subs, Dual 4ohm vc, 300W max RMS. That isnt the issue. I am doing what I can to decide on an amp for them. I am looking at either a Twister F2 190, or a Diamond Audio D5 600.2. They are both great amps, however I have never heard of the Twister, all i know is that its made by STEG and is fairly good. The Diamond audio is capable of producing the power I need at a 4 Ohm load, and the Twister as a 2 Ohm load. They are both in the same price range and am interested in your opinions. My set up is in a 98' Tyota Tercel, and the system is as follows:

HU: Alpine CDA-7894
Amp: Coustic 800Q
Front: JL 5.25 no idea the model, will be replaced with components soon.
Rear: Boston Acoustics SX65's

So the subs are great, just what I need. I got them at a great deal, otherwise I would have went for IDQ's, if I had the cash to afford them. But that asside I just need advice for a power plant. And if you have any sugguestions as to a good set of components for a descent dollar value seeing as I am upgrading the near future. I am after SQ and as loud as I can get it so all advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

You won't be able to present a 2 ohm load to the Twister amp. With two dual 4 ohm subs your options are either 4 or 1 ohm loads. The Diamond amp will work but there are cheaper amps out there. Consider the Hifonics BXi 606.... it produces 600 watts into one ohm or the Hifonics TXI7508 that produces 750 watts into one ohm. Both amps can be had for a resonable price.

Well 2 12'' subs at 4ohms(DVC) your choices are 4ohm or 1ohm. So looks like the Diamond audio would be the best choice.

well, I want to shy away from a D class amp as well seeng as I want the cleanest power available. And ya a 1ohm load would be the minimum I would need to run at. However the Diamond amp I can grab for 300.00 so I figured it was a very reasonable deal. Thanks for the assist, Diamond audio it is! Any idea on a descent pair of components for my front stage??? Looking at about 200.00 or so, maybe more, depending on the line. Thanks again!

Is that Twister not a 2-channel amp? He can run subs in stereo, giving each channel 2 ohm load.
