hey guys i decided to grab up that shocker extreme built by atomic thunder for a 116 dollars and made up a quick sealed box and it bumps with the Pyle PLA2550 2 ch 1600w bridgeable mosfet amp but i have a Orion sx2125 and was wondering if this would be a better amp to use i know you can do modes to Orion amps and was thinking it might push better .

yeah i am going to do a 16x3.5 maybe 4 inches. 1 foot down maybe 5 inches down the back to make a L rectangle port. could one of you guys do a online calculator to see what the dimensions should be to help me a little i all ways get lost lol . but on that Orion what do you guys think it would do i have a 200A car battery charger and i should be able to get some power. and dose any one know how to mod these amps

That's a nice amp, I hope the sub is either a dual2 or single 4ohm coil. The SX series are NOT high current capable......even if you get the mods done for higher current capability the amp will not last.

The SX2125 was rated at 2 X 125WRms@4ohms, double that into 2ohm stereo and 500@4ohms mono.

If you are looking for more power get a DClass mono-block for the sub.....the Orion is a sweet amp for running components.......

i just fried my Pyle 1600 w amp and i am in bad need of a amp i have 300$ and a alpine x type. and i was going to get the power acoustic 5500 bamf . do you know what i should get over this . or should i get this earth quake good price for that amount of power i would rather spend 150 extra bucks
