Just because it's a 15, doesn't mean it's any good ...
I'm not going to comment on the company names and designs you've thrown out there, but I just wanted to throw that point out there ... I've seen some 15's that are complete crap.

Oh and start googling ... maybe you'll find someone, somewhere with a picture of the sub ... just an idea.

that sub called shocker by atomic thunder is from the original woofer line by the company formerly known as "atomic thunder" but later changed his name to "shocker audio" for what reason im unsure but someone will chime in!

the speaker you have should perform very well but may need to be "refreshed" if the soft parts are original. Will it out perform the 3 subs you have now? depends on how well you design enclosures and how much power you can suply to it.

i got a picture but do you guys recommend and cheep 15 inch that hit's harder than an alpine type x. I currently have the x type in a 19 by 19 inch with a 2.5 inch by 12" slot and hits the lows really good you can feel em in you chest off a shitty Pyle of amp power off a battery PAC that is rated for 1600 watts bull probably close to 1000 . but for my 15 inch sub woofer i might do a 2 by 4 cubes with a hight of 1.5 feet a box that a couch sits on top of . i will be getting maybee a bamf 5500 i know there but for 300 $ 2000 watts any better ideas on car amp for that pice but better.and a 200 amp car battery charger to power it

um, I not that familiar with Pyle amps (but I heard Bart sued them for stealing his name), but why not try getting more power to your Type X and see what happens before getting rid of it for a 15''. Especially since you're planning to get a bigger amp anyways, why not do that first?

well lets just say this an x type that was blown i took the cone off and x type and it has dual separate coils and i didn't think of it at the time but i threw away the second coil and reconnected the coil wires and it worked flawless. but i don't know if it cant take max power so it is screwed unless i can find some one with a broken old cone from someone else
