Panasonic cq-c8300u vs Alpine CDA 9815

Hey guys, simply put I can get both decks for the same price. What I need to know is, which one is better? The deck must have:

Front and Rear and subPreouts
Aux-in or iPod connector/usb.

So yeah basically tell me the pros and cons of each model, and any other good, cheap decks I should look into.

Regards,

Hey, not sure about the Panasonic, but I used to have the Alpine 9815. I regret selling it to no end. I loved the mp3 search function, it had great preouts, sounded great to me. Ability to shut off the internal amp is nice if you have an amp for your mids/highs seperate.

You really can't go wrong with that deck.

Good luck.

$155 for a 9815 is a very good deal.

The aux-in depends what you are inputting... its an ai-net adaptor, you can get ai-net to rca or ai-net to miniplug among others.
Very nice and clean input, and very easy to set up, just plug it in and press source till you see AUX on screen and your in business.

The 9815 can also do active crossovers for running your components, which is nice and when properly set up, will really make the most of your speakers.

Agreed with the above posters.

I'm also have not used the Panasonic...but with 6 channel time alignment, 3-way 4th order x-overs, and 5 and parametric eq...the 9815 is a sweet head unit. Only thing that I don't like about it is the weak pre-outs.
