that pioneer isn't even in the same ballpark as the alpine. the alpine is far superior.

I've owned a JVC a Kenwood and the 3 Alpines and I would never get anything but an Alpine now, they're the best as far as I'm concerned.

so with the alpine 9815, what will I need to be able to use my ipod with it? i dont care if i can control the ipod through the deck, so all I really need is a minijack port or an aux-in connection... does it have either?

I saw that pioneer in person the other day and didn't like it, way too much blue lights on it, it's blinding. I have an Alpine 9855 and it's basically along the lines of the 9815 just newer and has an awesome big Biolite display. What can I say Alpine is just great.

see thats the only reason why I dont want the alpine. I dont want to have to buy extras. Obviously that is the best way to do it though as it will also charge the ipod...we shall see, im VERY tight on money due to being out of work for the past month n a half. I will see if my parents are up for a nice graduation gift

thanks again!

If you're not going to get the 9815, do you mind telling me who is selling it? PM me. Much appreciated.
