I was talking with a pg rep and he suggest throwing atleast 200Wrms at the comp set and atleast 150wrms at the 9's to get the full benifit from them, I have talked to people who ran them off the 500.4ti and they said they lacked until more power was throughen at them.

I am not saying the 600.2 ti's are out of the question, just not sure yet, it would be great to here these components setup with different amounts of power myself. I have only hear them once in a car and they sounded great untill the guy turned his sub up till the system was all bass.

You got pics of your false floor.
I have decide to make a false floor but instead of covering it completly I am going to cut out an area above each amp and put in the grating you see people put in the front lip of there car.

as far as taking out my spare, in the last 3 years I have had 4 flats fat chance I am leaving home without it.

I think the ti's are less efficent then the arc's but I will check it out to make sure .

I can see half the Ti500.4 lacking in power.. The ti600.2/elite system is very popular. Saw a couple systems like this at finals this year. And 1 ti400.2 system as well.

I have a couple pictures of my false floor on page 7 of my SD site.. http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/134143/7 They are not the greatest pics though.

The ti's are ~50-55% efficent at full output like most a/b amps.

Chev2, you should put your sounddomain site in your sig or as the 'www' link. Nice to see some slick DIY work out there I like what you did with the back seat. What was involved in doing that?

no it is not 2000w rms
That would be two channels per amp at 270Wrms using two amps so 4 x 270 Wrms = 1080Wrms on the front setup

Ah, the back seat!. Basically i started with what amounts to a simple amp rack (Box with no top). Then i made a new seat trim panel kind of in the shape of a sideways "L" out of mdf. got that to fit how i wanted. Then i covered it in 2" furnature foam and then covered/stitched factory cloth over the foam. Yes i did the stitching myself, you could say i went "martha stewart on it!"

If Tim Ballie saw it he would probably say i copied his accord, LOL. I didn't . Tim has really good pictures of the construction of his back seat in his accord.

Need to be carefull of the gas tank!

Do you realize how much 3 XXKs will cost you? Over $3000 new. If you were going to do that though, try running the comps passively with a bridged 2500 on each side. 1000W RMS to each side. Now that's headroom lol
