I just bought 2 dual 4ohm 10" Zenon subs. I'm running them in a 4 cf ported box with 2 3" ports 9" long. I'm wondering if anyone has had some experience with these subs and how they sound. I'm waiting for my new amp...Hifonics BX1205d. The subs are wired for 1 ohm. They will be running in an 88 Cobra GT. I want to know how you guys think they'll sound as I don't have them hooked up yet and I'm pumped for the amp.Thanks. [img]graemlins/jammin.gif[/img]

 

you will be fine with power for them. they will be loud and they do have a good sound to them. just be easy with the gain on them if that amp does what it says. but you should be happy with them

 

I have that amp and so far( 8 months) it's excellent, especially considering it's price. As far as the PG subs, i can't help you, i have no experience with those subs.

Your box sounds like it may be a bit on the big side, usually like to use those subs in a smaller ported enclosure. Depends on what your'e trying to accomplish.

Should be fine though - worst case scenario - you fill the box to take up some volume.
