Yep, just watch the for sale section here and you will find some kick *** deals on awesome equipment. I know that I have done very well here and built a few complete killer systems by just watching and waiting for the stuff that I needed to surface.

edited due to typo.

Hey intense you got something to say about products that have won more trophies in dbdrag for any team out there thats fine. When you actually know something about products that you are talking bad about then you can say something. I didnt like maxxsonics before, till i tried it.

When i can put 3000 watts to a 100 dollar sub... It kinda speaks for itself.

I was looking at creative sound products a few weeks ago. The 12 inch was like hundred twenty something bucks, so so cheap. I should of went for it, but I just couldn't even understand how much power this thing can handle in max. It didn't say, and I didnt understand anything else... ASked a few people but they just acted as smartasses...

Anyways too late now, their sale is over.

But if your willing to order from the US, you can look into this:
Acoustic Visions Home Theater Installation-Calibration & Sales

Both have the amazing XBL^2 motor patented by Adire Audio before they were scammed and went under.

P.S Do not listen to the last post, unless you want flea market crap.

Maybe this is a sign that you should start paying attention in class. That way you graduate with good marks go to college, get a good paying career and have a ton of dough to spend on car hifi. Then you buy what ever you want.

Sorry, I couldn't resist throwing a wet blanket into the ring.

But I'm serious too.

I am glad someone is saying it. I just don't understand why is it so hard to get an extra $100 to get a decent driver. If someone does not have the $100, then it is best not to start a money consuming project at all. I am starting to think this is one of those long threads someone starts to see how long it could go. It is already three pages long and it seems it has no end.

On a side note, $100 will get you pure garbage most of the time, and on top of it you refuse to buy from Ebay, or get the stuff used. Good luck!

I have no experience with the SD12s, but I've been running my CSS SDX15 (XBL motor) for 3 weeks now. I currently have it in a 7cuft net box, tuned to 18Hz in my HT, and I've been really impressed with it as a home theater sub. It replaced a DD9115, which really needed to be in a 14cuft+ box, and that was the best decision I've made to date for my HT system. My 91 was noticeably directional, and sub ~30Hz was non-existent. Not so with the SDX.
IMO, for a sub with composite cone, 1kw power handling, 30mm linear Xmax and XBL motor, the SDX is an absolute steal at $260Cdn shipped (particularly when you think about shipping costs for a 50lb+ sub). I'd have no problems recommending the SDX as a DIY HT sub to others, and Bob was awesome to deal with.

Unfortunately, the SDX15 only comes in dual 2-ohm coils, which isn't ideal if the OP's amp is only 2 ohm stable.

Thank you very much for all the replys. But I didn't get what i was hoping to get. I came here not to start a post that never ends. It always seems to happen this way.... I came here to find out a good canadian retailer and also see if maybe somebody knows of a start out company that got good products but throws hard competition to get high up. Thats all. Don't comment on this reply, i just made it to make things clear. save some room for a person that maybe knows something that can benefit us all. At least I still hope.

May I just pose one question to you unholysaveage? What kind of music do you listen to if your box is tuned to 18hz. I know very little in car audio, but I was told the lower the deeper bass. I love deep bass but I also love it very punchy. I was told to not go lower than 28hz because their aint much music that kicks that low. I only listen to rap. Do you think If I would go lower than 28hz I would get the perfect bass from songs such as jeezy, white girl? I know the only way to find out is to try it out but it does cost alot of time and money to pick a sub that goes so low in frequency and then building a box will cost time and money also. Also is there much definition to the 18hz box? I mean is it very punchy on the millisecond bass delays?

Thanks,
- Best regards, Blaster.
