lol it wasnt up untill last night ....even still the box itself is not bolted down...but there are brackets hodling the box in place...there bolts that hold the bottom of the seat down..i put a bracket in...tighted them down, and it doesnt move an inch

does your grand prix have the 2nd ignition under the steering wheel like the beretta's did? if so then I would want to hide those subs and make the car look like its nothing special. (what I mean by that is that people would avoid stealing your car, but if they can drive it somewhere, steal your gear, and dump the car they probably won't get caught, and theives know that)

I don't think that box would have gone anywhere even if it wasn't bolted down, man. it took two of us to put it in the car, which was actually easier than I thought it was gonna be. I'll bet the box weighed 100 pounds or better, and with the seats up against it, the only place it was going was sideways...Hey, did you find out what was wrong with your deck?

Well, Mr,Chicken , I don't know about you, but , if it were me and I was getting into an accident I'd have more important things going through my mind than, whether or not my subbox is moving around behind me. [img]smile.gif[/img]

It's too big to come over the seats and you'd have to be going aweful fast to even make the box go airborn in the car.

yea it dooes have the 2nd gear start....and yes i will be doing my best to covor up the system....

yea sling the deck just started working fine again! so its all good...and now the box IS secured to the floor so i dont have to worry about it moving around at all
