Pioneer DEH-P4600MP Aux issue, please help

I Have my Pioneer DEH-P4600MP set up on Auxiliary and I have wired an RCA cable into my psp for MP3 Audio and everything plays, but the problem is the volume sucks, I had this with another MP3 player and thought it was the player but now im realizing its the deck.

My question is, what can I do to further Amplify the sound so it will play louder. I do have an amp for my subs and that is not the issue. I have been looking into the CD-RB20 or the CD-RB10 but I don't know if this technology will help amplify the sound for me.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Read your manual to see if the cd player has a "SLA" or Sound Level Adjuster.

It does, but the deck is not responding to any sound adjustments made on it, only responds to whats adjusted on the psp, which is why I was looking into the different Aux Wire, or something that can amplify it before it hits the cd deck.
