The Pioneer DEH-P880PRS
Does anyone on this forum own this HU? It has a 16band EQ, which I would really really like for full control. And it also has an Auto EQ, and is 5volt?
And I'm wondering how the ipod feature is, compared to the new alpines which is super fast.
Just looking for some input!

I finally got around to installing mine last week after having it sit around for 3 months. I got the ipod unit too, haven't got to that yet though (hopefully Sunday). Must say I love it. Considering I'm just running my stock setup now, it sounds good, great control and features. Definitely gets thumbs up. Let me know if you want more details.

I have one, haven't used the ipod feature, it's my favorite part of my whole system, very user friendly, lots of features...my only complaint is the auto EQ, sounds like **** in my opinion. Had it about a year and not a problem whatsoever. Highly recommended, especially at prices they can be had for these days.

Is there a limit to the number of IP device add ons this HU can take? I know for the P690UB it states a maximum of 2, but could not find the same information for the 880PRS.
Anyone know?
EDIT: Would like to add the IPOD Adaptor, Aux in (I know it has one but need a 'stealth' one), possibly bluetooth.

The AutoEQ worked well on my 880PRS, my 7500DVD screen, and the first pioneer deck to have this feature my DEX-P1.
If you aren't very good at setting an EQ this feature will be of great help IMO. If you do know what you're doing this feature will be a great starting point to tuning specifically for your own ears. Everyone has their own ears and style/expectations of sound reproduction so everyone is going to want something different to suit them.
