Do you know if this cable will work?
I bought the system used, and it was missing one of the connectors on the optical cable. I was told the only way to get one is to buy the whole cable
This is the connector I have

Normally I either go to a Pioneer Dealer or to the Pioneer web site.
http://parts.pioneerelectronics.com/index.asp
Or go to PAC Parts.
http://www.pacparts.com/model.cfm?CFID=875897&CFTOKEN=36786567&mfg=PIONEER &model_id=DEXP9&row_start=1&src_model_id=DEX-P9&action=list_part
It's listed at a $128 on the PAC site.
If the end of the cable is missing you need a new cable.
Pioneer has a small circuit board in the end that converts the optical signal.
If all you have done is broken a pin on the cable, it is possible to solder it directly to the board in the DEX or DEQ.
