I have a wire harness for a 1989 Honda Accord but unfortunately don't know how to hook it up...

your help is greatly appreciated in advance..!!

Match up the colours... thats the way it's supposed to work...

It not hard to find +,-, switched+, then various speakers if you have to.. ask if you need more help...

I tried that site man...no help (hard to figure out and the colors don't match....
Haunz...could u please explain further cause I am really having a pain in the *** time getting this thing to work..it's my first time by the way..

aslo add to the last post..the speakers..how are they supposed to go (-) to the harness or vice versa...

OK.. use a test light or multimeter to find ground (should be obvious) a constant 12v wire and a switched 12v wire (when the key is on).... these should pair up with the black, red, and yellow wires on the harness... (in that order)

Speaker wires you can test with a 9v battery to find what speaker is where.. the wires should be market with a white line (+'ve) or black (-'ve)...

so should I connect the harness I bought seperatly to the speakers by (+)-(-) or vice versa...sorry I am confused please just tell me straight forward how to connect wires up to the harness..tried twice...first blew a fuse..second no sound or nothing....

well first simple question is did you buy the harness adaptor for your car
because if yoru trying to wire your deck right into the factory harness thats a bit tricky . there 12 bucks at wally world and they weill match up to yoru decks harness perfectly ( color for color )
