  • what subs's
  • what box
  • what amp
  • remote base control
  • what install kit
  • what line level converter
  • need any capacitor or anything else?

1)
what subs should i get? i really like the Kicker square subs, and i also like alpine
i plan to push my subs pretty hard and make them pound......... what do you guys recommend?

3)

4)
is there to have a remote base control to control the subs base from the amp with control from the front of the car?

what is your budget?

1. type r's are generally great subs for the money and get real loud.

2. build the box to spec listed by your chosen subs.

3. 1200spl for your amp. solid, dependable, lots of power. https://www.caraudioforumz.com/showt...t=prs-d1200spl that thread is actually closed, but you can find them around that price.

4.the above amp has the bass control you are looking for

5. 2 gauge kit will probably do just fine. always go bigger though with your wiring if you can.

6. no idea on a converter

7. you are going to need front end speakers and an amp to drive them if you want a decent sounding, balanced system. also plan for miscellaneous install items (tape, screws, mounts, connectors, etc). You may also want to invest in some kind of sound dampening for your car. If you want a louder, better soudning system, you want to isolate the interior from the environment as much as possible.

well that changes things.

go for a single 12 an amp half that size and a 4 gauge kit.

this site is basically just a for sale forum now so check out the classifieds. lots of great deals there.
also just spend some time perusing through some old threads
