Question Power Capacity

whats the power capacity of diffrent wire sizes? (is there a web site with listings?)
im getting ready to purchase and run my power/ground and want to know what i will be needing.
i will be running 800-1000wrms for subs, prob. 200-300wrms for the front and if i reuse an old amp i have for the rear 180wrms. (will be used for fronts till i can afford a better one for front stage)
would 2/0 for power and ground be enough?
do i really need to run ground from the battery or would i be wasting money for nothing?
is it ok to ground to a seat post close to the amps using a dis block?
a dis block for power if 1/0 is used from batt.?
also what size wire for the doors would be recomended?

alot of questions i know! just trying to make an informed purchase.

here is what i will be running:
HU - Kenwood DNX8120 (already installed)
Subs - not sure (need help SQ)
Front - CDT ES-06+ Midbass, ES-02 Midrange, TW-22T Upstage Tweeter, MX-1000 Crossover.
Maybe a CDT CS-020 for centre later on. not sure how it will sound. would luv to hear a centre stage in a vehicle first!
Rear - CDT CL6EX

the speakers were suppose to be here by tues but a shipping misshap set the date to next week some time.. we are all human after all.
if anyone is looking for a great deal on CDT give Ross a shout out. great pricing.

tia for the help guys!

Its never wasting money. Its always a good idea to do.

yeah but if it whines dont come crying to us.

a dis block for power if 1/0 is used from batt.?

yep

for speakers? they usually come with there own but 14ga would likely be fine...

Honestly your best off to run both a power and ground from the batt.. and use 1/0 then you can dist block to the amps, that should be fine.
