Power problems..need help

Ok I had to relocate the battery to the rear of my car (hatchback) due to major engine mods.

Currently I have no stereo hooked up yet. Everything is wired properly & grounded properly.
My main problem is my engine temps get quite high & thus heat soak my engine bay thus resulting in having to cool my car down awhile after long drives in order to start. There simply is not enough power getting to the starter due to the excess heat.

I am running 0awg from the battery to engine. Now my question is I have a Phoenix Gold 15 farad Powercore (not currently using) If I use this would this help at all in delivering the correct voltage or would this be pointless due to the fact when the car is off the Powercore discharges instantly?

Eventually my stereo will go back in but not until I solve this problem.
