power ratings for dual voice coil subs

Hello,

Are the RMS power ratings on dual voice coil subs per-coil, or combined?

Say a subs' specs are 2-ohm DVC, 300 RMS. It will take 300 RMS per coil right?
So I could power it with an Alpine PDX-150 x 4 amp bridged into 2 channels,
and have one 300 rms channel per voice coil?

Thanks,
Shifty.
