go with the alpines.

I have 4 of the p2 10s in my new truck and they sound absolutely horrible. Mind you they are in a sealed enclosure but the volume is still right in the middle of the recommended range.

Rockfords are junk.

 

If you got the extra cash man go better subs be glad you did it in the long run but goodluck on what you do

 

Surprisingly it was. the first few times I sent it back in because it was making a god-aweful noise, but the last time I took it to a local speaker repair place and got them to look at it (it was faulty out of the box). The spyder kept becoming unglued from the basket (not sure if that's the correct term for it).

 

they are both near entry level offerings by both companies to find a difference youd be splittin hairs
whatever one exchanges over the counter is the one I would get

hey man i would say go with 2 alpines or even just one they play much better bass than rockford p3 subs alpine bass is alot cleaner go for alpine. but try to find the older 04 modle ones they are 300 rms 1000 peak but they can handle around 360-400 rms pretty good i have a rockford p3 biggest mistake ever now im going for alpine.
