Price for custom enclosure

I was wondering how much does it usually cost for a 2.0cu.ft custom box from a local store.

these are the specs ill be using

external specs 30w 14h 13d
internal specs 29.25w 13.25h 12.25d
3/4 mdf

A lot more than it's worth. Even if you don't have a jigsaw, most lumber places will make the cuts for you Then just glue it and screw it, or even nail it if you don't have a drill. Most shops will charge 100+ for a custom box.

yah most aroudn here are 120-140 for a box.

For a box that size, sealed, and carpeted should be no more than $100 in the Toronto area. Check out Auto Sound Design at Steeles and Yonge( actually between Yonge and Bathurst), I was quoted 100.00 for a larger box with an angled front baffle a year ago. Just shop around, and don't forget about a good prefab box if it fits your specs.

I'd suggest to stay away from auto sound design at yonge and steeles...

Why? I went to the one in markham cuz thats where i live and i think he said around 120 for a custom box...but mines is slightly bigger..its 2.0 cu.ft..so it may cost more

i charge $300 and up
won't even pull out my table saw for less
you's people should evaluate cost to run a shop
time to deal with the customer
measuring and double checking time
supplies
and shop time
i typically spend between 3 to 5 hours on a box

^^He has a business to run, and needs to put food on the table. It is justifiable for them to charge that much, but there is not very much skill needed to build a box.
