Price shopping for insurance claims
Are you kidding, I love ICBC.
Eli47: I full understand where you are going with this, and the answer is NO. Correct me if I am wrong, you are asking should we drop the price of the product to get the ICBC sale as sometimes we do for a regular sale? Again, NO. I really do not believe in droping the price for anything!! I just explain to customers how ICBC works and if they really have an issue or try to scam,,,,place a call to ICBC and have the claim flagged. This will freeze the claim and the car will be re-inspect by ICBC after the claim is proccessed. If the claim is done wrong, the shop that did it can and will have it's Vendor number pulled.
We need to be on the same page with it.

Thank you for the confirmation Claudio, we are on the same page, I've been dealing with ICBC for a long time. I've also flagged my share of claims, and by writing this, I hope some dealers can also learn to protect themselves from fraudulant claims, and a shrewd consumer.
