Problems with XM Radio
NSAV installed a client's own XM unit with the antenna mounted at center of the rear roof using the FM mod built into the unit -- the client is complaining about it cutting in and out in North Vancouver -- any ideas??

xm reeks for reception compared to sirius, sell them sirius would be my advice. the bs propoganda campaign put on by xm canada and their distributors is laghable. the whole terestrial cell site bs they are telling people is a joke. they should be ashamed of themselves
sirius rules and xm sucks donkey farts in the reception wars
xm is so embarrasingly bad in kelowna and the okanagan valley that i refuse to sell it. i mean xm sucks so bad the signal bets blocked by stopsigns

Mike,
At our head office meetings in Toronto over the weekend I had an opportunity to ask Scott Elsey (XM national sales manager) about the repeater issue. According to him, they have had their high powered repeater in Vancouver shut down almost from day one as it interferred with cellular signal. As a result, XM has had to reposition the lower powered repeaters to compensate. Scott said the high powered repeater should be up & running again this week so hopefully your client will see a noticeable improvement. Also, they are less than halfway with they're low powered repeaters so the signal will just keep getting better & better.
