Pyle Head Units? Whats the verdict?
I'm looking for a new HU to replace my broken 10 year OEM HU. While looking for possible replacements i found a pyle HU. Now i'm just wondering if Pyle makes decent HU's.
Here's a link: http://www.pyleaudio.com/itemdetail.asp?model=PLDN72BT
btw: it says it's 4x80watts, is that about 22watts rms?
Also if this is a pyle of s$%t should i get a Legacy or are they similar?

Don`t buy the Pyle Head units, I have sold a couple and all have been no good and had to replace with something better for customers and now I refuse to sell them.
Legacy is same thing, if your looking for cheap go with Dual or something, but I strongly recommend buying good name its worth every penny.
The old adage "you get what you pay for" stands true
Hope this helps

if it is cheap that you are looking for but new I would go with the dual....$111.00 after taxes at wally world.
I have installed a few in a friends scrap trucks just so he has music and he is very happy with them.
but like crab said you get what you pay for.

^^^ what he said... X4 Dual is about as cheap as you wanna go. Heck I'd even look into a good used Pioneer, Kenwood, or Alpine. There are some nice lightly used decks in the FS section.
