Quart and Eclipse in Futureshop???

Maybe this will mean the opening of a NEW Authorized Service Depot for Eclipse, which will make 2 for the whole country. Should that happen, then and only then will other dealers benefit from this transaction. As for SKU's carried, it may start with dedicated models, and will probably expand over time, if anything it will give Eclipse more exposure.
The Eclipse ESN system does work from what I've seen, and the 1 year replacement if stolen is honoured(provided it was registered), and to date I've seen only 3 cases of Eclipse decks stolen, where the decks were replaced by Eclipse.

like i said, i think that its a good thing, they can advertise higher quality products both in print and displays, giving more awarness to the mass public that a smaller store just cant do. in my direct market they just moved the washing machine guy into car audio so all is good and there istaller is a guy one of our other stores fired because he was so amazing, so all is good here in kelowna at least

lol, the FS bashing is sweet.
I find it amazing that the stores I have worked in recently avoid many of the issues/problems that ALL of these other outlets have.
As for the "specialist retailers", they have had to deal with this with Alpine, Pioneer, Rockford, Kicker, PPI, Infinity, Sony, JVC, Kenwood, MTX, Panasonic, and Orion for a long time now so, really, what's the big deal?
Answer: there isn't one. As mentioned - the increased exposure hurts no one.

I know from my dealing with the owner of Automobility who is the Canadian distributor for Eclipse that they will not tollerate FS killing the eclipse brand in the way of price. I got this right from the horses mouth . I am looking forward to the exposure it will create for me as I carry the whole Eclipse line. I push the stuff like crazy. I have at least 3 ads coming out every week trying to educate the public on ESN and so far it is working great. Eclipse them selves no matter how much you order will not let their line degrade. Just check A&B their prices are the same as mine and I love it. The flip side well there isn't one . More sales is all I can see.

who's horses mouth would that be, the same one that just opened a national 5 minutes from your front door, how long have you been a eclipse dealer for, my guess, correct me if im wrong, less than 6 months. i agree, i dont think its a bad thing, unless you choose to look at it that way.

Well at my other store for over a year. And it does not bother me at all. The trick is to sell your self and then sell your products. Most sales reps working for fs and so forth do not even know what the equipment can do. Like I said more sales for me. And they more than likely will not be doing full line support.

the exposure will be good for eclipse, the smart exisitng dealers will use it to their advantage rather than run from it
