I hear ya DUKK, and I have heard that manufacturer's recommended box specs suck, but whenever I built boxes to the JL specs, they always rocked the house.... Maybe they had a lot more potential that I never knew about. [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

Here is the TS W255C graphed in red (tuned to 34.12), and the TS W305C graphed in Blue (tuned to 36.4). This is in the box that I have already built. I have subtracted the port volumes, and the Speaker Displacement, so this is as accurate as I can get.



I am inclined to go with the 10" because I can get a little bit lower excursion, even if the response isn't as smooth as the 12 (I think I will set the crossover around 80 or lower, so the bass will only get more powerful as it gets lower until 35 hz or so).
