Rear fill?
My son (SPL on the brain) keeps telling me I don't need any rear fill. Right now I'm running all stock speakers except for my ed10. Once we move into our new house I'll be able to upgrade the speakers.
Should I reconnect my rear 6x9's that would be running off of my Clarion or leave it as is for now?

Do you sit in the back seat? Didn't think so
I hate rear fill. I feel it messes up any sound stage you create up front. I haven't had rear fill in any of the comp vehicles I have done. The only time I would add any rear fill is if I were doing a multimedia system with full video.

I agree no rear fill neded .........remove the rear speakers all togetther to allow an ope passage into your trunk for sound from the sub
and you can take the money you would have spent on new rear speakers and put it towards even better front speakers

^ I have indeed been to live performances where there were speakers located both in front and behind me. What was you're point?
Some like it some don't - you need to decide yourself. Try driving around with it faded full forward and then bring some rear back in and see what you prefer.
