rebuilding subs?
i bought a pair of 12' PG xmax subs the one sub it self has come apart on the side of the cone (i see this as a easy fix) The other sub on hand is the bigger problem it looks great but its sticking when pushed down on, so i figured burnt coil in the basket. so i carefully took it apart to see the burnt coil, now that i have the sub apart is there away to reorder just these coils and how do they size them i only ask cuz they dont make these subs any more and i really am a fan of old school stuff (is a sounds better to me lol). I do want to fix these so throwing them out is not what i want to do. But i want to know the best way to fix these. I know theres got to be someone on this board that might point the best route for me. thanks

i dont think i would make the coil myself but i wouldnt mine buying the coil. its the inside teflon/plastic that has warped causeing the sub to stick i just guess replaceing this would fixer up. I'm just looking for ideas i have the spec papers from Phonenix i just need find a new coil or have someone make me one. Btw cool vid there ipchouinard, i'll shoot them an e-mail and see what they say.
