Reccomendations appreciated
Just purchased a 01 dakota extended cab and want to put a sub(s) into it without losing the function of the two side backseats. Maybe under the back seats or in the middle of the two. Any tips or reccomendations of where to put it or what subs to use would be appreciated.

Anywhere that you are willing to give up the space for a sub will work.
Pick an ideal spot, then measure it so you have an idea of cubic volume.
Once you know the air-space you are working with, then we might be able to suggest a sub.
Installs vary greatly - from a sealed 8" running in .4 cubic feet to a ported 15" in 4 cubic feet. Knowing specifics about the space you are looking to use is crucial.
I currently have a single ported 8" in a 1.2 cubic foot box in my Toyota running on 250WRMS, and it gets pretty loud for an 8" on 250 WRMS.
Before that, I had it tucked in a small corner in the back of my Subaru wagon - ported in a .6 cubic box, not as loud or as deep, but it fit into small area.

MTX makes a Thunderform for your vehicle. It drops into place under the seat, perfect fit, perfect finish. It comes with two 10" subs in it. It is available with or without a built in amplifier and in this vehicle is the best option. As a side benefit, it actually sounds pretty darn good.
