this is prob a stupid question but i was just wondering if remote bass controls are unique to each amp or if you can use a universal one.

i have a hifonics nx750 amp and was wondering what type of control i can use

I know the new Punch amps and the new hifonics controllers have different connectors(own both and I tried it). As far as i know they are all different from company to company.

 

My concept amp had a remote bass control that i never used. When i received my new viper 1200, i found it had a port for remote bass control which to me appeared identical to the concept amp, but the manual says even if connections look close do not use another brand as you may fry something. That may have just been them wanting you to buy there stuff....but who knows.
