the compustar 2wfmas is very easy to put into reservation mode and doesnt require 1293 steps, put foot an brake, pull e-brake, remove key, open door, close door the car will now shut off and arm itself, i do tons of starters in manuauls, but i only use manual specific starters(compustar), and never put them in convertables or roofless vehicles

I agree, the compustar is definately the most user friendly remote start I have seen. Even the other ones usually only require you to press one button on the remote to go to ready mode.

Humdee... Well I guess it's not all the bad then. The impression I got from a fellow installer was that it was a real pain in the dink to use them, but then I don't think he's done a manual in a few years. [img]smile.gif[/img] We've essentially been told not to do them under any circumstances due to liability issues. Anyhoo, I should probably do a little more research before opening my big mouth. We don't do them at our shop either, I used to do them all the time when I worked at ACC. They are not that bad to do.
