yeah jsut use Goop you can get it at Canadian Tire, considering it holds together subs with over 20 000 watts on them, should hold your surround very well

Be sure to clean things before using

What glue would work best for rubber (surround) to metal (Basket) ?

Epoxy? Shoe Goo?

Does epoxy eat rubber? (the solvent in it?)

Epoxy will work and it wont eat anything... but its not very flexable...

Id probably use the goop or contact cement for surround repairs.... use sparingly as either may dissolve the surround a bit... (thats actually a good thing)

I've used goop to repair way to many things. It now comes in black and clear. I keep a tube in every tool box. Stays flexable, stops leaks, good for gluing stuff ect.
